“Even before I got engaged, when I thought ahead to a future wedding, I knew I wanted to ask Marilyn Lemon for help with the planning and decorating process. I've known Marilyn since I was a child and have always been impressed with her style, organization, and eye for beauty. So when my now-husband proposed, I called her right away to ask if she'd be willing to help. She, of course, agreed. She talked to me quite a lot about my personal style and the "vibe" I wanted for my wedding, as well as how I envisioned achieving it. Would we rent items, get things from Hobby Lobby and make things, ask her to hunt things down, etc.? From there, she helped me develop a plan and a schedule to bring everything together.  Honestly, she was invaluable. She helped my husband and I find a venue, my mom get elements for decor, recommended a florist for the live flowers, helped me put together our silk flower bouquets, and connected me to a fabulous caterer. She kept me organized and on-schedule. Then for the actual wedding weekend, she did all the decorating and made both the church and the reception hall look STUNNING.
